Secure hosting on a virtual server

The service of providing secure hosting on a virtual server (VPS) is the service of the Republican platform becloud, which is provided according to the IaaS model – Infrastructure as a Service.

IaaS is a pool of virtual resources (processors, memory, disk space) or ready-made virtual machines on which any system and application software can be deployed. Thanks to IaaS the customer receives a complete replacement of the physical infrastructure without capital investments, helps to optimize the business processes and budgets of the organization.

The customer, represented by a state body or organization, is provided with a cloud infrastructure for hosting information resources (Internet sites) of the state bodies or organizations that use in their activities information that requires an increased level of information protection.

IMPORTANT

beСloud company (Limited Liability Company «Belarusian Cloud Technologies») is included in the list of the Internet service providers authorized to provide hosting services to state bodies and organizations https://oac.gov.by/news/events/about-services.

When providing the service, beCloud ensures full compliance with security requirements in accordance with the Order of the Operative Analytical Centre under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus on August 2, 2010 №. 60 «On approval of the Regulation on the procedure for determining the Internet service providers authorized to provide the Internet services to state bodies and organizations, using in their activities information constituting state secrets».

WE OFFER

The customer is provided with the necessary work and IT resources, depending on the required configuration of the secure virtual server:

• provision of a virtual machine (VM beCloud) with the transfer of all the access rights for its administration. BeCloud VM is characterized by certain mandatory characteristics of IT resources (processor power - vCPU, RAM - vRAM), guaranteed processor power - 2000 MHz,
• installation on order of the operating system Linux on VM beCloud. When providing the service the license purity of the software is observed within the framework of the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus,
• ensuring the presence of the information resources of a state body in the Internet,
• provision of access to the beCloud VM through the access port at a speed of up to 100 Mbit/s without limiting incoming and outgoing traffic,
• provision of one IP-address,
• ensuring the protection of IT resources in accordance with the security policy agreed with the Operational Analytical Center under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the placement of information resources.

SERVICE QUALITY GUARANTEE

The operator guarantees the availability of the service in accordance with the rules for the provision of the service and ensures:

• Traffic protection and filtering from malware
• Logging of security events of the provided infrastructure
• Weekly backup of the virtual machine (virtual server) configuration
• Control of the integrity of the configuration of a virtual machine (virtual server)
• Interaction with the client to detect vulnerabilities in the data protection system
• Providing the ability to timely update the information security software
• Provision of access to the administrative part of the Internet sites and e-mail servers of state bodies and organizations only through the ports of the transport layer protocols from the certain list of network addresses specified in the contract for the provision of Internet services
• Protection against distributed attacks aimed at disrupting the availability of Internet sites
• Continuous monitoring of the servers, telecommunications equipment, information security tools’ operation with notification of the website administrator about incidents

ADDITIONALLY

The service «Secure hosting on a virtual server» may additionally include the services for the allocation of disk space, additional IP addresses, guaranteed Internet access bandwidth, hosting control panel software.

If the Client orders the ISP Manager Lite hosting control panel software, to activate it the Operator provides access to the Client's virtual machine with the hosting control panel software installed from the following external IP addresses of the license management servers of the Copyright Holder of ISP System software on port 1500:

The operator provides a convenient payment scheme – a monthly payment upon the provision of services, if the customer wishes to pay for services in advance discounts can be applied.

beСloud provides state registration of the Internet site in the State Register of information Networks, systems and resources of the national segment of the Internet, located on the territory of the Republic of Belarus in accordance with the tariffs.

The service of the Republican platform is provided on the basis of the Republican data centre which ensures compliance with the requirements for power supply, climatic conditions, physical protection of the equipment and continuous operation in accordance with the Uptime Institute TIER III Tier Certification of Design Documents and TIER III Tier Certification of Constructed Facility, technical 24x7 support and guaranteed levels of service availability.
