Data Leakage Prevention

The Data Leakage Prevention service is implemented on the basis of the republican platform using the SaaS cloud services model (Software as a Service, Software as a Service) and allows you to use the functions of a software package designed to detect violations of an organization's security policy regarding confidential information, informing about such cases and taking a set of coordinated measures.

The principle of operation of the data leakage prevention system (DLP, Data Leak Prevention) is to analyze all information: outgoing, incoming and circulating within the organization. The system, using algorithms, analyzes what kind of information it is, and if it is classified into categories other than publicly available, and is sent along an inconsistent route, it limits the action and/or notifies the responsible specialist about it.

Using the Data Leakage Prevention service allows beCloud clients to ensure:

• control of storage and movement of files on local disks and in public network folders;
• detection of the movement of critical information in the form of graphic files, downloads from databases (for example, 1C) or in documents with a clear structure (questionnaires, applications, forms, reports, etc.);
• control of actions for taking screenshots of the screen and the use of a keylogger, analysis of information copied to the clipboard;
• safety of information relating to the categories of "bank secrecy" or "personal data";
• providing advanced analytics and visualization of information flows, including an interactive graph of connections and advanced client profiling.

In addition to the listed functions, it is possible to order additional works:

• to reduce false operations of analysis technologies for the categories of critical information defined in the used content filtering databases (CFD);
• to develop a glossary of terms containing categories related to the trade secret of the organization (customized CFD).

As part of the order approval, the client determines the composition of the modules responsible for various information processing control contexts, as well as the level of technical support for the service.
