Backup to a remote site

The service of the Republican platform "Backup to a remote site" provides the client with the ability to store backups on a remote site in a certified beCloud TIER III data center to ensure the possibility of subsequent recovery in case of emergency situations associated with data loss at the client's main site.

beCloud provides customers with comprehensive data protection, backup and replication services.

Storing backups at geographically remote sites is one of the requirements for creating reliable backup and recovery systems. Using the resources of the cloud service provider beCloud allows you to solve this problem in the most reliable, secure and cost-effective way.

As part of the service, beCloud customers have access to all the features of Veeam's backup and recovery solution:

• prompt transfer and secure storage of backups;
• comprehensive control with a guaranteed possibility of recovering data stored on a remote site directly from the backup console;
• the ability to use incremental backup and long-term storage policies.

When calculating the cost of the Service, the following is taken into account:

• number of virtual machines whose data is included in the backup;
• number of workstations whose data is included in the backup copy;
• the number of servers whose data is included in the backup;
• the amount of disk space of the remote storage available to the Client for placement of backup copies;
• bandwidth access to remote storage.

To use the service, the customer must have a valid license to use one of the products that includes Veeam Cloud Connect Backup and Replication (Veeam Availability Suite, Veeam Backup & Replication, Veeam Backup Essentials and Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows).

Service quality assurance is set out in a Service Level Agreement (SLA).
